1. General objectives – General learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to analyze natural and anthropogenic elements that make up the environment, the analysis of environmental problems and their impact on humans and the environment. In addition, the aim is to analyze the principles of environmental policies and to highlight the importance of environmental policy as a means of tackling environmental problems. The course aims to become acquainted with environmental technology and environmental impacts issues. How they specialize in the following categories 1.1. Knowledge The student will be able to 1. Understand the basic processes of pollution and their effects on humans and the environment. 3. Understand the basic principles and priorities of environmental legislation. 4. The general skills that the student should have acquired from this course are:

Students are assessed by presenting their written assignment and oral presentation and final written examination.
The assignments are intended to demonstrate the student’s ability to research, develop and document a research question. This relates to all the individual learning outcomes of the course such as knowledge, understanding, analysis and synthesis of information.
The oral presentation is related to both the student’s knowledge and understanding. It is also linked to his ability to research international literature, but also to expose his views and substantiate them in public.
In the final written examination, the questions that students are asked to answer fall into three categories: (a) questions aimed at identifying the knowledge they have received, (b) questions aimed at verifying their understanding the various phenomena and their connection to consequences and outcomes, and (c) questions aimed at solving problems through analysis and / or synthesis of information. The categories of questions are related to the learning outcomes requested.
The evaluation system and the criteria are clear, adequate and to the knowledge of the students.
There is no process of evaluating the examination process. Transparency is ensured by the fact that student presentations are public and that students can see their exam paper and received grades from their teachers.
