Students acquire the ability to solve serious property registration and management problems that arise during the implementation of each project. Simultaneously, they gain knowledge on the basic law and economic concepts associated with ownership, as well as the social and administrative processes that influence and ultimately shape it.

6. Working on planning Issues (Recomputation Acts and Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies).

1. Introduction, description of course requirements, laboratory exercise, review of concepts of urban planning applications and related legislation.
2. Suitability for development – land re-parcellation, building regulations, “regularization” of plots of land, Recomputation Acts for property obligations.
3. Common – free – public spaces in spatial planning. Concept of land ownership – Violations of property rights. Analysis of legal concepts: Land parcel, title deeds, land registry, land cadastre etc. Expropriation in Greece and other EU countries.
4. Introduction to Recomputation Acts and Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies. Legal and administrative concepts of Land Regularization, Re-parcellation, and Compensation Acts. – Case study / Emphasis on the legality of issues and processes of Recomputation Acts, Compensation Acts, etc.
5. The system of conduct of spatial plans in Greece, modifications of plans, Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies – specifications – developments.
6. Introduction to the Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies, legal and administrative procedure. – Case study. Analysis of special cases related to Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies.
7. The structure and parts of the Acts of Application of Urban Planning Studies. Part C. Contributions in land and money.
8. National and European case law on expropriations. Exercises, special case topics.
9. The role and responsibilities of Local Government in urban planning applications.
10. 10. Land Cadastre.

Student assessment depends on whether students have a clear and practical understanding of the role of urban planning and issues of space management and environmental protection. Particular emphasis is placed on the ability to solve practical issues and problems. Students are familiar with the method and method of assessment, which ensures objectivity and equal treatment.
