The course aims at understanding the factors involved and influence the design, implementation and effectiveness of regional development policies as well as at analyzing and evaluating the means for the implementation of regional development policies, both conceptually and empirically. Upon completion of the course, students acquire a critical perspective towards the “classic” tools of regional development policies.
