The course is based on the two compulsory courses “Spatial Analysis” an “Geographical Information Systems”. It focuses on the presentation of approaches to solve spatial problems based on advanced functions of the GIS software, including ArcGIS and GRASS GIS. Practical exercises are organized in the computer center. These practical exercises include topics related to:
• 3D applications
• network applications
• geocoding
• spatial indexes
• complex measurements
• web mapping
Practical exercises and written examination at the end of the semester.
