The course aims at the understanding of the factors involved and influence the planning, exercise and effectiveness of urban development policies, as well as analyzing and evaluating the means of exercising urban development policies. Upon completion of the course, students are able to collect and interpret data and information related to the factors that favor or oppose the successful implementation of urban development policies and on the other hand propose specific policies to deal with development challenges in the urban sphere.
