Ioannis Faraslis

Researcher at the Laboratories of: (a) Rural Space, (b) Computer Science Applications in Spatial Planning, (c) Spatial Analysis, GIS and Thematic Mapping Laboratory, Department of Planning, Urban and Regional Development of the University of Thessaly (since 1999). Scientific fields: Remote Sensing – Photogrammetry – GIS – 3D representations (image interpretation, classification analysis, change detection analyst, spatial modeling, DTM modeling). The main object of work focused on the terrain analysis in rural and local development, using GIS-Remote Sensing tools and 3d-terrain analysis in virtual environment (fly simulator).
