1985
Aristeidis Sapounakis is a Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the Department of Planning and Regional Development of the University of Thessaly. His main research interests include urban and regional planning and development, domestic and commercial architecture, landscape architecture and urban design, protection and management of cultural heritage as well as social research especially pertaining to homelessness and access to housing. He has participated in a large number of European and national research projects as well as many national and international conferences and he has published several papers in a number of scientific journals and collective volumes. For 13 years he has served as the Representative for Greece in the European Observatory on Homelessness organized for the European Union by FEANTSA (Federation d’ Associations Travaillantes avec les Sans-Abri).
